This is a 2 session beginner quilting class. A basic knowledge & use of sewing machine is assumed.
Session 1-Sat, June 18th 3-5:30pm-Cutting and piecing the table runner
Session 2-Sat, July 2nd 3-5:30-Quilting and binding the table runner
What you need to bring/purchase:
Fabric-Prints-12 assorted 5 x 5 inch squares
White-1 fat quarter non directional print
Gray border/binding-1/2 yd non directional print
Backing 5/8yd
Batting-15" x 42"
Basic sewing supplies-Thread to piece & quilt, scissors, rotary cutter, mat, ruler, marking tool, pins/clips. Walking foot for 2nd session to quilt.
What is provided: Paper pattern that has 2 table runner patterns. We will be doing the Simple Stars for class, but the 2nd pattern has an additional 4 stars that you can use in the future.
