Sewing Machine Basics Class, Tues, Feb 20th, 6pm-8pm
If you have a sewing machine, but are a bit intimidated and aren't sure where to start, this is the course for you! In this 2 hour session, we will review the parts & functions of the machine, learn how to change a needle, how to change the feet, discuss setting tension, stitch selection, cleaning out the bobbin case, winding a bobbin, and proper threading, and lastly testing out the stitching.
What you need to bring:
Your machine-don't forget the power cord and foot!
Machine manual, if you have it. Most can be found and downloaded online if you have misplaced yours or maybe got a machine secondhand.
Machine accessories. Bring all the feet and attachments you have. We'll go over them and what they are used for.
