I love curling up on the couch with a super soft and cozy blanket on the chilly nights. If you'd like to learn how to make a quick and easy flannel rag quilt, this is the class for you!
Our goal for class will be a baby size quilt 30 x 40 inches, but you could certainly use what you learn and make your quilt larger.
What you need to purchase/bring with you:
**Please have your squares cut when you arrive for class!**
1 yard of flannel fabric for the front of the quilt. If you want all one color/print, then you just need 1 yard. If you want some variety, you can get different colors and prints to mix up as well. In the end, you need 48- 6 inch squares for the front.
1 yard of flannel for the backing
Craft batting approx 30" x 40" enough to cut 48- 5 inch blocks
Marking tool (optional)
Thread to piece and quilt. This will be visible so you can either match or contrast with your fabric choices.
Rag Quilt Snips. I will have these available for purchase the evening of the class. These are not 100% necessary, but I highly recommend them. Your hand will thank you.
